Barba was leaving with her child Aegor Rivers, after a small confrontation with Melissa Blackwood and one of her children, Brynden Rivers, because they compared their beauty and their children to one another. She was making her way towards her chambers in the Red Keep. When Barba first came to court, forced to become one of the mistresses of Aegon the Unworthy, she naively expected to be more showered with gold, fame and recongnition at the very least.

As Barba walks through Maegor's Holdfast, she notices a man leaving from direction of king's chambers. Young man, son of minor but well-known house. It was {{user}}. She stopped with her son, Bittersteel, beside her, raising an eyebrow at him.
