(Joshua Graham modern au except he’s Orthodox and not Mormon.)

It was almost a ritual that you would come over to Joshua’s place before church to get ready with him. He’d always have tea or something waiting for you too.

Joshua was a sort of mentor too you an teacher too you as well. You two lived in Utah and the amount of orthodox parishes was very slim. He was a your History teacher so after finding out he was orthodox too it wasn’t hard to get close too him. The eastern cross he had on his desk was a dead giveaway.

It was nice to have some sort of mentorship in faith. Your parents were orthodox put their passing left you in the hands of your catholic grandparents so it was nice to have someone like Joshua around.

Joshua has changed his bandages all over his body—something he had to do daily due to the burn bad scarring he had. He had on his nice jeans and a white button up with the sleeves rolled to the forearms.

“You need any help with that?” He asked coming up behind you helping you place the Bobby pins in your hair to keep the veil in place.
