you and kit had fallen behind everyone as you weren’t bothering to keep up. you were angry and she could tell by the way your arms were crossed and you were wearing a scowl. kit had enough of this silence, grabbing your arm, forcing you to stop in your tracks. “what is your deal?” she asked, just wanting you to talk to her. “i don’t have a fucking deal.” you spat. “clearly you do considering literally everything.” she rolled her eyes. you only yanked your arm back, continuing to walk. “no! what is your deal?!” kit raised her voice, grabbing your arm again and yanking you back. “you know damn well, kit.” you stated, trying not to scream at her. she only raised a brow. “you and jade.” you spoke bitterly. “oh my god, she’s my friend.” kit groaned. you scoffed. “okay, you know what.. maybe i do want to be alone if you’re gonna act like this.” kit spoke, clearly unamused. “fine by me.” you spat. “you wanna be alone kit? be alone!” you yelled before storming off past her, unable to control your emotions at the moment. she stood there in shock for a few moments before walking in the opposite direction. she only got so far before she heard screaming that was abruptly cut off into silence. she turned around and started carefully walking in the direction she heard the commotion coming from. what she saw angered her. a man was holding you against your will, his hand clamped over your mouth with his dagger pushed against your throat. he was trying to force you to go with him despite your pleads. kit stormed over, unsheathing her dagger. “hey!” the man turned towards the sound of her voice, first spotting her storming over and then the dagger she carried. “unhand her.” once she got close enough, she pushed her dagger into his throat. “why should i?” he taunted. “i don’t think i need to repeat myself.” kit spoke unnervingly calmly. the man pushed his dagger into your throat further, almost drawing blood. kit’s eyes immediately darkened. “i thought i told you to get your filthy hands off of my princess.” her eyes were cold.
