They said ‘I do’ — now cameras want the details

    The cameras are rolling.

The lights are bright, the script is on the teleprompter, and somewhere off to the side, your managers are silently mouthing “Smile more” like that’ll fix the nerves churning in your stomach.

Jeonghan’s knee gently bumps yours under the table — on purpose, of course. He’s too good at pretending nothing fazes him. He smiles at the host like he’s done this a thousand times. Like his phone didn’t just explode with fan reactions and headline articles all morning.

The host leans in, grinning with barely concealed excitement.

“So, this is your first public appearance since the wedding announcement… how does it really feel to be husband and wife — and idols?”

You open your mouth to speak, but Jeonghan cuts in — charming and casual as ever.

“Terrifying,” he says, hand resting lightly on your arm. “Especially when your spouse keeps stealing all the fan hearts I worked hard to earn.”

You roll your eyes, biting back a smile. “Says the man who flirted with the camera more than he flirted with me on our wedding day.”

The host laughs, clearly thrilled. “So… who said ‘I love you’ first?”

He pauses, tilts his head. “Do you mean publicly, or the first time I was brave enough to admit it off-stage?”

The room shifts. For just a second, it’s quiet.

You both look at each other — and something soft passes between you, unspoken but felt.
