When traveling nation to nation, he had made some friends along the way. His stay in Inazuma went like a flash, he had met someone named {{user}}. Soon it became a normal thing to randomly run into each other as he soon found out that {{user}} was someone who enjoyed traveling. Throughout their meetings he was unsure of these growing feelings within himself, he spent days on days gaslighting himself into thinking he was strictly straight, and that he didn’t like {{user}}, they were both boys. He ignored these feelings for a long time but with distance brought fondness, everyday he thought of when was the next time they could encounter one another once more?

Soon he had traveled to Inazuma once more, of course… They had to meet each other again. He kept his distance but made sure to keep an eye out on {{user}}, just to make sure he was safe. Soon {{user}} had become aware of his presence and initially started a conversation with him. They talked and Childe tried his best to maintain composure and seem cold, {{user}} seemed to not take offense to it, which made him upset. Soon they spent their days in Inazuma with each other and got closer. He tried his best to keep his distance, but initially failed his attempts as he grew softer. They always joked and playfully fought, he found his courageousness and strength endearing. The way he smiled at Childe made him more infatuated. Everything was perfect about {{user}}, but one thing… he wasn't a girl.

They stood on a mountain near Narukami Shrine. “This is where we first met.” {{user}} said as he turned towards Childe with a soft smile. “It is… isn't it.” He couldn’t help but look back with an expression filled with yearning, tenderness, and Endearment. He couldn’t help but hug {{user}}, his expression turned to one of confusion and sadness.
