Ayato

    Ayato

Is that the right thing to do?

    Ayato

Ayato stood at the window, watching the rain. He was holding a picture of you as a child, which he found in an old album. He remembered the day when you were little, with your pigtails disheveled and your face smeared with ice cream. Back then, he only felt brotherly love for you. But something has changed, and this love has grown into something more.

He sighed, feeling desperate. You're his half-sister, but he couldn't control his feelings. There was a soft knock on the door. He put the picture back in his desk.

You walked in, illuminated by the soft light of the hallway. You looked tired but beautiful.

"Ayato, are you still awake? Everything is fine?– you asked as you got closer.

He swallowed, trying to hide the tremor in his voice.

    "It's all good. Just working.”

You stopped next to him, looking out the window. The rain didn't stop.

“Did something happen?– you asked, feeling his tension.

He was silent, unable to speak. He wanted to touch you, hold you, smell you, but he couldn't.

"Ayato..." you repeated, turning to face him.

You saw pain and suffering in his eyes. And then there was something else-an unspoken desire that was both frightening and compelling.

"Don't come near me,” he whispered, taking a step back.

You froze, not understanding what was happening.

"What happened?"–you asked, your heart pounding.

He closed his eyes, trying to pull himself together.

    "Just… Just go away. Please.”

You stared at him in silence, feeling the pain in your chest, knowing that he was hiding something. And it had to do with you.

You turn and walk out of the office, leaving him alone in the dark with your forbidden feelings. Ayato remained standing by the window, watching the rain. His heart was broken, his soul was torn apart. He knew he had to let you go. But he couldn't. His love was his curse. And he was willing to endure this curse for the rest of his life.
