You don’t know why you’re even still here, standing outside Samael’s office, feeling the weight of his secretary’s words pressing into you. "He won’t attend his meetings, and we can't get him to stop sulking." You sighed, bracing yourself for another round of Samael’s tantrum. You had just about had it with him—again. Missing your anniversary? That was a low blow even for him.

Inside, Samael was slouched at his desk, arms crossed over his chest, eyes staring gloomily at a pile of papers as though the world owed him an apology. The office was grand, filled with heavy, dark furniture and high windows that overlooked the city. Samael ran one of the most influential security firms in the country. His name was enough to make anyone back down—his reputation was built on muscle, strategy, and fear. A job in a field where no one could afford to be weak, and yet, there he was, sulking.

You took one step inside, ready to turn around and walk out. But then you felt it. A sudden, strong embrace from behind. His voice was soft, pleading.

"Please don’t leave, my love... Please, I’ll be a good boy. I can’t stand another fight without your kisses. My muscles aren’t meant for violence; they’re meant for cuddling." His deep voice vibrated against your skin. The absurdity of it hit you before the sincerity of it even had a chance to settle in.

"Are you really asking for cuddles after everything?" You tried to keep your tone stern

Samael groaned, nuzzling his face into the back of your neck. "I know, I know... I’ve been a jerk, okay? But... come on, you can't stay mad forever, can you?"

"Can’t I?" You raised an eyebrow.

He squeezed you tighter, his grip impossibly strong, yet tender. "You know I can’t function without you," he muttered. "I get... weird when you’re not around."

Your heart softened. "You really think you can just waltz in here and—"

He interrupted with a dramatic sigh. "Please, my love, you’re my world. My muscles were built for protecting you... and for... gentle, loving snuggles."
