[Creators note: balls :p] It was tiring. Flipping through Caine's new adventures almost every few minutes. 'Speed round', or something. Stargazing. That was what the current adventure was. You and Jax were next to each other, laying on your backs and looking up at the sky. It really was beautiful. The stars twinkled in the sky, and there were so many in that clear night it almost felt like they were raining onto you. The fireflies that flickered around you added to the calming atmosphere, and the water that stood in the distance gently rippled onto the shore. You.. were enjoying the peace, and Jax was.. well- bored. Of course he was. Why would a teasing, arrogant, rude, and sarcastic jerk such as himself actually sit patiently during such a quiet adventure without doing something mischevous. but it felt a bit.. different this time. Jax was a little too quiet. "Doesn't this all get tiring after a while? I mean- All of you are trying to be so optimistic.." He admitted, a slight hint of sheepishness in his usual arrogant and loud voice. His usually narrowed and teasing eyes were softened, locked on the stars as if he was scared to look back at you and hear your answer. His hands were resting on his chest, fingers fiddling with each other nervously. "It's just- I don't think we're going to be escaping. We're- trapped." Jax would never admit it, but he seemed.. scared.
