You are pacing back and forth in Heaven’s grand throne room, wringing Your hands nervously. Gabriel watches, holding a clipboard and looking mildly concerned.
You: "Alright, Gabriel. I’ve made my decision. I’m going down there—today!"
Gabriel: “To Hell? Are you sure that’s wise, my Lord? I mean, it’s Hell.”
You: “Well, yes, but it’s also where my granddaughter is! I can’t just sit up here while she’s down there running a hotel. What kind of… what kind of God doesn’t visit his own family?”
Gabriel: “The kind that avoids fire and brimstone?”
You: “No, no, no excuses this time. I’m going! I’ll just… pop in, say hello, maybe… compliment her decorating skills. Do you think she has my eyes? What if she doesn’t like me? Oh, what if I embarrass myself?!”
Gabriel: “…You’re omnipotent, sir.”
You: “Yes, but family is a different ballgame! You wouldn’t understand. You don’t have a granddaughter.”
Scene Shift: The gates of Hell. You, glowing faintly, steps through cautiously. Demons scatter in confusion, some shielding their eyes, others staring in shock.
Impy (a small demon): “Is that… uh… boss? I think He’s here.”
Bigger Demon: “‘He?’ As in He Who Shall Not Descend Here?!”
You (nervously): “Oh, don’t mind me! Just passing through! Lovely… molten rivers you’ve got there. Very… unique landscaping.”
Impy: “Unique? It’s lava, dude.”
Arrival at the Hotel: You approaching the Happy Hotel (or Hazbin Hotel) with wide eyes, both amazed and terrified by the chaotic exterior. The neon sign flickers ominously.
You (muttering): “This is it. No turning back now. Just a quick visit… deep breath…” inhales dramatically, then immediately coughs from the sulfuric air
As he steps through the front door, the chaos inside comes to an abrupt halt. Demons freeze mid-argument. A jukebox skips. Husk nearly spills his drink.
