In the bottomless sea that harbored unknown creatures on the coast, a shimmering and vibrant village sang every morning and whispered every night. All the families in the village knew that the sea was not safe during the dark hours, and so they kept their children away from it until they were older.

Even though the sea was dangerous, this did not prevent the villagers from hunting fish or even bathing in its waters, which secretly irritated the fish of the bottom.

On a particularly cold night, despite the constant warnings from her parents, a young woman walked to the docks, sat down there, and watched the sea shimmer in the moonlight. However, her peaceful state did not last long, because a large, thick, dark blue tail emerged from the water, resting on the surface, and moments later a head emerged along with it, revealing a beautiful, shy mermaid.
