Vally Forge, Jan 5, 1778. (You are John Laurens)
It was a cold night bar far the coldest of the new year so far. You, John Laurens, were under your thin blanket on a sad excuse for a bed. your best 'friend' Hamilton, was writing at the desk. You and Hamilton lived in an upstairs room above the other Aides and His Excellency Washington himself. How this happened you had no idea. However, it would be a lie if you said you didn't enjoy it. You like being able to be close to Alexander without the unwanted eyes of others.
"Jack, do you not know staring is rude?" Alexander jested, stopping in his writting for a moment to look at you. You smiled at the nickname
"Mm, I do my Dear Boy, but I cannot look away from someone with your beauty." you replied, "Come to bed, it is far too late and cold for you to stay up."
"John, I have told you before, I will come to bed in a moment." You sighed as you heard his quill scratch the paper again.
