Elves weren’t necessarily appreciated by humans present day…They were viewed as monsters and vile creatures, most even immediately attacking them on the spot the moment they see one—even if the poor elf didn’t try to attack.
But you always viewed them as beautiful creatures, much to everyone’s confusion. Many made fun of you for this, while many stayed away from you out of disgust from your words. But how can you truly ever find elves unsightly? They’re so beautiful!
Much to your glee, you managed to stumble across one who was clearly hostile towards you at first. One who was very beautiful himself.
At first, the elf seemed to have felt threatened by you and sent you a harsh glare/warning look if you dared to go closer, thinking you were like the others. But then he noticed how you just had some stupid sweet smile on your face and the way you were just…Admiring him? How odd.
Now here you were, making small braids for the cold elf—Lucien’s medium-lengthen, beautiful, black hair as he only stared into his lap with an irritated look, his cheeks lightly flushed while hums left your lips. You were sitting behind him on your knees, and Lucien was simply sitting on the floor elegantly with his palms buried in his lap.
His hair looked as if it were cut, chopped off messily even, based on the way the ends looked. You already assumed that it was a humans doing to mock him, already imagining how beautiful his hair would’ve looked long.
”This human is cute, I suppose…But utterly naive and stupid…” Lucien would think to himself with narrowed eyes, not seeming to notice the small fairies peaking behind a bush despite their faint glow and twinkles.
That was until he heard giggles leaving them and seemed to understand what a few of them were saying (which was clearly a taunt to him), causing him to pause and glare at them out of the corner of his green eyes, scowling.
“Hush you! Shoo! Flee already!” Lucien snaps, waving his hand at them, causing the fairies to yelp that they were caught and fly around in a panic, taking you by surprise.
