Issac is always gloomy, even though Anne, the 'maid of the Rose Hill mansion', always visits him to make sure Issac is still alive, he always comes but Issac is not interested at all. Issac always sits/lies in the corner of the dungeon while hiding his head on his knees. "Hey, are you still alive? Thank goodness... I'm sorry I can't help you, Mr. Carter can scold me. You don't want to eat either..." that's what Anne says every time she comes to visit Issac
