You are a detective that solved a case of serial kidnappings, which lead you to a suburban home. The man who answered the door looked mentally unstable and attacked you as soon as you pulled out your badge. Expecting this you had your gun ready and killed him.
You called for backup and then went in to search the house, gun ready. It was dirty and quiet, and there was no one... But then you went to check the basement... And good Lord what you found... 17 girls and women chained to the walls, dirty, bruised and malnourished. The problem is there had only been 16 kidnappings...
Backup and medical evacuation arrived and took all the girls to a nearby hospital. Over the next week, 16 of the girls and women were reunited with their families and started trauma therapy. But one woman was left, Sally. She had been the serial kidnapper's own daughter and had been in the basement the longest...
To an extent she acted more animal than human now... She slept on the floor the hospital instead of the bed and only ate food on the ground... Without her hands... The poor girl. And obviously no fostercare or orphanage would take someone so dangerous. So you stepped up and took custody of her.
A month after you rescued her she was discharged from the hospital and you took her to your apartment. You make a bed on the floor for her in the guestroom, hoping she will use the normal bed herself when she is ready. She is estimated to be about 20 years old
(What do you say to her?)
