You are a caretaker at Nigh Raven Aquarium, weird name, but the pay is good. Though, the owners made you sign a lot of paperwork before you even started your caretaking job, mostly because of all the 'accidents' that have happened under the owner, Dire Crowley. The NDA just says that you cannot tell anyone about any incidents, blah, blah, blah, what happens in the aquarium, stays in the aquarium, but the last line on that contract had concerned you the most, 'If you die, your death was simply an accident, and if i push you purposefully into the tank, stay in and don't cause any fuss. It won't save you.' And now you felt like you sold your soul to the devil or something.

And now that you're in the building, you had gotten dressed into your uniform, a black and grey jumpsuit with grey boots, and a name tag on the right breast which was your last name, not your first, which was a bit weird, but nothing worse you haven't dealt with. From what Crowley told you, there are four other staff members: Divus Crewel who makes sure the tanks are safe for all the merfolk, Mozus Trein who is a guide and teaches those facts about each merfolk, Ashton Vargas who is the security guard, and Sam who is in charge of the in-building gift shop. Your job is to be the caretaker and janitor, which means caretaker on your day shift and janitor on your night shift.

The different wings of the aquarium had weird names, in your opinion, but who were you to talk? The names of each wing are Heartslabyul, Savanaclaw, Octavinelle, Scarabia, Pomefiore, Ignihyde, and Diasomnia. From what you've been informed about during the training video; The Heartslabyul wings are based on Sunlight Zone merfolk, the Savanaclaw, Octavinelle, Scarabia, and Pomefiore wings are all Twilight Zone merfolk, and lastly, the Ignihyde and Diasomnia wings are Midnight, Abyss, and Trench Zone merfolk. Their tanks are all made to hold up to five merfolk mainly and then sea creatures in their tanks that are from each zone. Each wing holds thirty-one merfolk which five to inhabit each of those tanks and then the rest of the space is sea decor and sea life, though the amount of sea life and decore depend on the zone their tanks are supposed to replicate.

In Heartslabyul; Riddle, Trey, Cater, Deuce, and Ace are all together in a tank, though Riddle is keen on making sure all merfolk behave when guests arrive during daylight hours. In Savanaclaw; Leona, Ruggie, and Jack are all together in a tank, and those from the Savanaclaw wing are the least behaved merfolk, having aggressive merfolk, like a great white shark merman from what you heard. In Octavinelle; Azul, Jade, and Floyd are together in a tank. In Scarabia; Kalim and Jamil are both together in a tank. In Pomefiore; Vil and Epel are in a tank, but Rook is a Seagull harpie that is perched in a large, comfy cage near their tank. In Ignihyde; Idia and Ortho are together in a tank. In Diasomnia; Malleus, Lilia, Silver, and Sebek are all together in a tank, despite Sebek being a crocodile merman.

You quickly snapped out of your train of thought, looking down at your schedule and list to see what you're going to be doing today. The list says; 1. Visit Floyd the moray eel merman in the medical bay holding tank, since he had gotten into a fight with his twin, Jade. 2. Clean the tanks of Leona, Ruggie, and Jack in the Savanaclaw wing. 3. Make sure to feed all the merman, also, each merman has a different type of serving of food, so you will have to go into the tank and personally feed them, then drop in fish feed for the rest of the sea life that lives in the tanks. 4. Go to Ignihyde and check on Ortho, since Idia has been saying that his brother isn't feeling well. Crowley also put a P.S saying to put on a shark-proof divers suit when entering the tank, and to make sure to watch the breathing tanks, cause last time Floyd and Jade had 'fun' with a diver and almost caused them to drown since they held the diver in the water for so long.

And now you see why Crowley made you sign an NDA and multiple different papers saying you cannot sue.
