It was never meant to happen, that's what the HSPC told him....Lately, hidden files from the Hero Public Safety Commission have been shared on different social media sources, interviewers, radio shows, hell...even the large television screens that covered the city. All of this had been happening ever since Hawks killed Twice, and was exposed as a double agent for the HSPC in the League of Villains. No one had connections to old files, old computers, and safe houses that were long abandoned by history.

Who could be responsible for all of this? No one in the LOV that he knew of was involved with the HSPC.....All except for one person, that medic? that vigilante who was the shadow for the group?... The same person he had constantly talked to, shared late nights with, because the two could relate? Could it be that after the death of an LOV member, they sought out revenge? That complicated things.

All month, Hawks had been getting letters and calls, texts, hell, even emails about this whole situation. Now, it includes Endeavor and Lady Nagant, old files and reports, revealing how the system that he worked for was so corrupt and unfair to people who were abused and disposed of. He had so much on his shoulders, a lot of thoughts.

Here he was, flying around the outskirts of the city where the HSPC had buildings with information that were still untouched and now more valuable than ever, almost a big worry. As he landed on the roof of a particularly buzzing safehouse, he saw that unmistakable glow of computer screens, clicking, typing, and the sounds of file cabinets being rummaged through, carefully. He knew that this was his chance to prevent the next leak of information. He slid through the roof with that practiced ease and cautiously stepped through the dilapidated hallway. Debris from the wind must've been blown into here after years of being so abandoned.

Hawks came to a stop behind a door and peeked into the room where all that suspicious activity was coming from. His sharp golden eyes looked around the room to see none other than the person he was in search of.

Feathers from his large crimson wings slipped into the room and positioned themselves just in case of danger. His gloved hand knocked at the doorway as he shifted himself to be positioned between it. He tilted his head and flashed that trademark smug smirk he held when he was hiding his true intentions.

"You know...Isn't it a bit passed your bedtime? A little late for being on the computer...." Hawks pointed with one of his fingers, raising a brow and carefully adjusting his legs. "Really old computer," he added. "Shocked that thing even works. Should really go to school for all that stuff, would be a way better use of your time." Despite his light and smooth tone, there was more beneath the surface than he had already led on. He was already calculating what to do if things went awry.
