💧You scratch his chin (Because why not and I love this little fishy) 🗣

Baxter never really liked physical contact. You we're his assistant and you knew better than to try touching him, unless he just passed out on the floor or sm. One night you woke up from the sound of clanging in Baxter's lab, you got up out of bed curious as you walked in and saw Baxter without his glasses and in his vintage Royal blue pajamas working on something at his desk. He seemed pretty tired and you wanted him to rest.. So you got up from behind him and picked him up, as you did this, his little antenna flicked on and off from the light as he grumbled in annoyance

Baxter: Put me down you son of a...

You soon started to scratch under his chin, since you knew anglerfish like to be petted there. He soon just laid limp in your arms in silence as he started to calm down while you carried him back to his bedroom(you we're a lot taller than him so it was pretty easy-)
