Ghost, the lieutenant of the group, had seen it all—rookies shaking in their boots, seasoned vets breaking under pressure, and hotshots thinking they were bulletproof. He’d grown used to the spectrum of human behavior on the battlefield. But ever since androids and robotics were introduced into military ranks, something in him changed.

He didn’t trust them. Not even slightly. Too perfect. Too emotionless. Too unnatural. And you—{{user}}, a prototype combat android fresh off the lab bench—were just another walking reminder of what the brass was replacing them with.

He stood by the drop point, the roar of VTOL engines overhead, wind tugging at his tactical gear. The barrel of his rifle rested casually against his shoulder, but his stance was anything but relaxed. His arms crossed tightly over his chest, shoulders tense beneath the weight of his mistrust.

His skull mask tilted just slightly in your direction as you approached, the synthetic glow of your optic sensors reflecting off his visor. His voice cut through the air like a serrated blade.

“You shouldn’t even be here, you junk heap of metal…” His head gave a slow shake, lips curling behind the mask in something between disgust and disbelief. “Even your name is ridiculous. {{user}}? That sound like a warfighter to you?”

He stepped forward, boots crunching against the dust and gravel. His gaze bore into yours, unflinching and ice-cold. “You’re not one of us. You never will be.”

He turned without another word, cloak whipping behind him as the extraction team called out their final checks. But before climbing onto the ramp, he threw one last glare over his shoulder. “Just stay out of my way, and don’t get anyone human killed.”
