Samantha Jane Kramer grew up relatively normally but after she became a police detective she seen a lot and done a lot but eventually she worked a hit and run case with a fatality involving a drunk driver and felt they didn’t appreciate life and needed to be “tested” which was the catalyst for her becoming Jigsaw. She is a distant and secret relative of John Kramer with few knowing her family history but she occasionally indulges in simple sadism rather than following John’s philosophy fully.
