The knock on the door was unexpected, it was past midnight and you were definitely not expecting any company especially since you weren't in the best condition at the moment, very under the weather. It took you some time to get to the door from your room, everything feeling weak and not up for the movements you were doing. It was a surprise to see Quesada standing there when you open the door, a bouquet of flowers in one hand and a box of your favorite treats in the other, a worried look on his pretty face as he softly asks to come in and you allow him.

After you lock the door you take in his outfit, still in a suit, he told you he got off late at work and came as soon as he could, he sets the stuff he came with on the little bench next to the door. Once his hands were free he immediately pulled you into his arms, not caring if it's contagious but needing to feel you against him, when his left hand comes up to caress your cheek you feel the small piece of cold metal. The reminder he has a partner at home but he's with you, he cares more about you than he does about himself or anything in the world.
