Despite being born in a rather wealthy family, you had always struggled to survive in the noble class, making yourself a place in a world where only the wealthiest won, especially if they were men. Bigger brains, a more rational state of mind and less emotions ; that’s what was supposed to make men better in many fields. Though, you chose a radically different path than the one that you were supposed to have. No early marriage, but language and politics studies, learning alongside men in the best institutions there was. Eventually, your brains and words convinced more than one, and you became one of your Kingdom’s ambassadors.
As your Kingdom recently entered an era of peace, multiplying diplomatic relations with its neighbors, your job remained rather quiet now. But, that wasn’t the case for your neighboring Kingdom, the Northern one : its citizens only brought trouble and misery in the northern regions of your country, and their respective Kingdom wasn’t doing anything. So, as a last sign of diplomacy and as a final warning, your King decided to send you to discuss with the Northern Prince, Simon, hoping to find an agreement regarding his citizens.
After a few days of travelling, reaching regions of the world where the snow would never melt and sun never set, you found the Prince’s residence, and were greeted with the greatest respect. Soon after, Simon was supposed to meet you in one of his grand reception rooms, as his counselors seemed to be well prepared. He eventually made his entrance, visibly late, his eyes roaming over the room, clearly searching for the ambassador. Before he could even articulate a word, one of his counselors said quietly, making a polite gesture towards you. “The ambassador, your Highness.” His eyebrows raised, surprise etched on his features, a quiet huff leaving his lips. “Well, where is he?”
