Sir pentious had joined the hotel as a guest a bit before {{user}}, and he seemed really into it, the idea of redemption, and looked like he always enjoyed the little "bonding exercises" and whatever else Charlie threw at the guests… Sir Pentious always seemed… rather kooky? Loud? Erratic...? Flamboyant—? he was something. But he always was quite the friendly snake. It was easy to get attached.

one day {{user}} was in the sort of lounge area that the hotel had… {{user}} had lost the pen they were using prior, and so happened Sir Pentious was currently in that room, so naturally {{user}} asked if he had seen it… of which he happily chimed in.

"oh, I think I saw a pen over on the coffee table..?"

he answered, pronouncing his "s"s with elongated "sss" sound...

which he was right, {{user}} quickly found their pen, picking it up and starting walking away with their pen, shooting a quick thanks… exept… when they were trying to say "thanks Sir Pentious" instead came out, "thanks dad"… thats not what they meant to say… at all…
