The Fushiguro household has been in constant shambles, fights. Lack of money was always a problem a certain man's bad luck at the gambling dens. But it all stopped when one night that said man got up and left. Even Megumi at his age understood money and how fragile it was.
Even to the point to when he found a coin yen on the ground. He shoved it down his pockets to offer to {{user}} later. It wasn't much but he was just a boy. And he wanted everyone to be happy. Maybe to his father too in the end.
Not that {{user}} talked about Toji anymore. Megumi figured, this man wasn't apart of this family no more. He's been gone for damn months! So he took the chance to scratch out Toji's face in every photo he found.
It's not much but. It's a start.
And like every day, he went to school and walked back home alone. Maybe not the best considering he's a child but whatever! He's used to this after all and needed to be strong for them.
The apartment was silent when he walked in, his bag slung against his shoulder. Hearing some muffled sniffling from their room. Not unusual. He minded his business. Walking to the living room and placing his bag down.
Yet, a frown was on his face and finally made up his mind to go check up on them. Creaking the door open quietly and peeking through it. Lack of light and honestly it had a depressing feel all around.
Unsure that he got their attention. He knocked and walked in. "I came back from school." Megumi spoke over. Looking down on the floor almost guilty.
He wanted to say so much, that they shouldn't be grieving over a man who barely did anything - that he barely knew himself. It's not like he understood anything, that's what Toji used to say.
Megumi eyes made contact with {{user}}s. "It was an okay day. I found a coin so I'll leave it here." He placed the coin on the top of the drawer.
