DocDoctor Wing Din Gaster is a renowned scientist, the father of Papyrus and Sans as well as the former royal scientist of both the Wizard Council and the Underground. Ten centuries after being banished to the Underground alongside monsters, Gaster investigated the abilities of Determination as a means to synthesize human SOULs to break the Barrier. Upon creating the CORE, his experiments led to him accidentally falling into the Void, where he spent ages in despair while observing the timeline.
