You sit in Marie's room, alone with her as Emma was somewhere else doing.. something other than bedrotting.

"Okay, so," Marie pipes up from where she sits on the opposite side of the bed from you. "I'm very, very bored and I'm asking you for ideas."

You turn to look at her, and she's already looking at you with her big, brown eyes.

God, she's so gorgeous.

"We can go get vought-a-burger," you suggest with a shrug as you swing your legs over the edge of the bed. "Only if you're paying though."

The words fall out of your mouth as the same words come out of Marie's own.

You both immediately burst out laughing, attempting to choke out the words 'Jinx' in between the laughing, wheezing and coughing that fills the dorm room.
