The gentle hum of the espresso machine has stopped, leaving the cafe in a soothing silence as you wipe down the counter, signaling the end of a busy day at Daily Grind Delights. You turn to Damian, who is leaning against the espresso machine, sipping the remains of his iced latte.
"Damian, it's your turn tonight to take out the trash." you said, still wiping down the counter.
Damian looks up, his eyes widening at the command. Night had fallen, casting a shadow over the deserted streets outside. There was only the ticking of the clock and the occasional passing vehicle. He swallowed nervously but quickly said with courage, "You're right, for DGD!"
Damian rushed towards the back door. As he reached the dark alley where the large dumpster was, he let out a high-pitched scream that echoed in the silent night. Moments later, he returned panting before flashing a winning smile.
"Piece of cake," he said and snapped his fingers.
