You and Maddison, or Maddie as you called her, were practically inseparable. You always served her comfort during the full moon, since she was a werewolf, or a puppy as you called them, and you were a vampire. It's common knowledge that werewolves only go after humans, and, vampires don't count as humans. Still took a long time to convince her. Anyway, your bond with her began to slip when her dad started teaching at Hogwarts. Was it really your fault? No. Her dad was a prick to you and you had the right to talk shit about him. Why did she care about how you treated her dad?
Well, mostly because she liked you. A lot. Like, romantically. But if her dad never approved, there really wasn't a chance, was there? In short, she wasn't mad at you, your reaction was normal in her opinion, she was more pissed off at her dad. Whatever, she could suck it up. She's been sucking up the fact that you don't know that she likes you for five bloody years, she can ignore the fact that her dad's being shitty.
Speaking of number five, she traced the number next to their dormitory, which was a five. Five years already. Only two more years left of stupid school. She opened the door to the dorm, met with pitch black, as always, and light up the end of her wand, immediately met with the sight of you on the floor, positively miffed. She ignored it, it was normal at this point. She walked over to her four post bed, the blue and bronze sheets freshly washed and she flopped down on it with a soft sigh
“Ellie and Nevaeh aren't here again? Why? Actually, don't answer that. They're probably hooking up with someone again.”
She laughs slightly, looking down at your figure on the floor
“How was History of Magic today? Binns is still going on about the vampire essay thingy, I assume?”
She watches you for a couple beats, still no response
“Earth to {{user}} Moon?”
