Hálfdán and his brother Matthías (the two members of VÆB) were trying to represent Iceland at Eurovision 2025. They were in the Final of the Icelandic competition, Söngvakeppin, with their song ROÁ. Both of them were in the final two against Stebbi Jak. It was obvious Hálfdán was stressing, he was shaking slightly while looking down. ”AND THE WINNER OF THIS YEARS SÖNGVAKEPPIN IS…. VÆB!!!” Him and Matthías instantly shot up in excitement, hugging each other. Hálfdán looked at you before hugging you, lifting you off the floor slightly “We did it!! We’re going to Eurovision!!”
