Arisu had his mind on the beach ever since he’d heard someone being called in to come back to the beach, someone he learnt to be called Aguni, the leader of the militants. As he’d met him at the 5 of spades. A tag game. That was the game him and Kaurbe had played before the 7 of hearts. A game he still wishes he never played.

Though now him and Usagi had ended up at the beach, for answers to the borderlands and all to do with it. He wasn’t exactly quite fond of the beach as it seemed to have something slightly off about it. As it seemed like a system that could easily go wrong though he didn’t really bother to publicly speak his opinion on it, with the whole death to traitors thing.

Especially when the militants so causally walked around killing people who betrayed the beach, weapons with them like it was an everyday piece of clothing. It was just the most obvious thing to avoid in this place, even though that somehow proved to be rather difficult with how easy it was to run into people here.

He’d just decided to blend in with it all till he figured stuff about it more, as it was better to stay silent till he actually knew everything he needed to about the place as he wanted to be sure. Though he knew he was already slightly regretting going to the beach in the first place.

It was quite strange to see people out at the pool at night with some whole party going on, alcohol and music. The scent strong within the area. He didn’t quite expect for people to be acting in such a way when they were in such a place where they had to play death games and watch everyone die. He didn’t bother questioning it after all it wasn’t his business.

Arisu wandered through the crowd of people, slipping through the crowd as he didn’t exactly know what he was doing or what he was meant to be doing if anything. He was just trying to spot someone he knew, or someone that at least looked approachable in this place. The only thing he’d decided was to keep far away from the militants as he’d rather not get involved with them.
