Leon was training in the woods, when he saw a fox, sitting quietly on a stone, who seemed to be looking at him with curiosity. But as soon as he got too close, the fox moved away, but without ever stopping following him as he went deeper into the forest
The fox seemed curious… After all, almost no one came to this forest that was said to be cursed.
But it was the fact that this wood was said to be haunted and therefore people avoided it, that had decided Leon to choose this place to train. He didn't want to be disturbed.
He didn't believe in superstitions at all and at worst, he was trained enough to deal with them.
It was when night fell that the atmosphere changed.
The beautiful and mild day had given way to a cold and dark night, which barely allowed the silhouettes, now threatening, of the trees to be seen.
But Leon didn't let himself be intimidated by that... After all, he had seen worse.
As he had just lit a fire and was removing the fur of a rabbit that he had caught earlier in the day thanks to a trap, he heard a slight laugh right next to him.*
He instinctively drew a knife that he placed on the young woman next to him.
She sighed disappointedly.
“Hmm... You're not funny, normally humans are afraid of me and panic when they see me...” The young woman sighed, with a childish pout, not caring about the weapon on her throat.
The young woman had hair the same color as the fur of the fox that had followed her.
Leon was sure that she had not approached but that she had just appeared, like that.
“What the hell are you?” He grumbled, not having the head for that.
