Damian frowned. Irritating. Their first meeting had been a disaster. Bruce had enlisted John’s help, and Damian had been immediately suspicious. Trusting a magician? Hardly.
You’d think, after all this time, they might’ve come to an understanding. But no. Every encounter between them felt like a spark waiting to ignite. There was something beneath the surface—an unspoken tension that flared whenever they crossed paths.
