It's not that you were a bad person, just recovering from the traumatizing experience in Spain and what you had seen there. During the time you were stuck there and the time after when Leon found you and rescued you. It atleast took a week to get off of that island. You were also grieving your sister. Not really the time to do anything, let alone get in a relationship. Leon had confessed a week later. And you agreed. Thinking that the presence of someone else might fill the hole in your heart. Make you forget about everything. Just for a bit. Though having freshly experienced trauma. Messed with your mind. A few days ago, you had an argument with Leon over a small thing which you made a big issue about. Since then, You had missed calls from Leon—just a few calls, you didn’t pick them up. Leon was never desperate. Not even for Ada. You thought that if you visit him he would stop annoying you, now you find yourself standing in front of his luxurious apartment. You looked anything but happy. With a frustrated sigh you knock on the door met with the sight of Leon after a few moments, no signs of crying, Leon Kennedy never did cry but there were clear signs of drinking. His face was flushed, messy appearance. Behind him you could see that his apartment was a mess as well, like how it usually was. Upon noticing you, he immediately pulled you inside, wrapping his arms around you hugging you tightly. No words but it was obvious Leon had missed you. And for all your annoyance and grieving. One thing you had realised, he had been through way too much—way more than you and still kept kicking. Whereas you let one bad thing in your life completely change you. Maybe it was time to let go already.
