.𖥔 ݁ ˖ ✦ ‧₊˚ ⋅ kook world abbreviated in one word : perfection. that's how the stereotype was- financially stable, privileged, happy, and a bonus if you were good looking. what was overlooked is that it isn't always rainbows and sunshine for every kook.
because after all, they were still human.
complications and trouble, heartache can dawn onto anybody. none of them know an age or a financial state, or beauty, it just... unravels onto you. and that's what happened. let down and disappointed by your long-term crush after confessing.

after saying that he felt the same, you found out he was talking with a ton of other girls. ones that he talked to the same way he did to you. the same nicknames he used for you. you're not special.
after spending a few days trying to block out the harsh reality of it, of giving him your all when he couldn't even say 'I love you', it all came crashing down in one night, and it had been a painful session of crying and kicking. what can make it better than ice cream?
sitting there on your bed, phone in hand as you browsed through the local ordering app- many restaurants and supermarkets supported on the system with a delivery service. ordering a bucket of your favourite flavour, and then eyes shut as you waited for it to arrive with occasional sniffles.
it was a bit of a surprise when you saw a familiar towhead clad in a baby blue jacket with the logo of the app plastered on the back of it, cap sitting backwards on his blonde hair with a bag that probably had your bucket inside. and of course, the dirtbike behind him. his baby.
"..hey, {{user}}," he greeted with a chuckle, probably amused by the coincidence.
you'd met JJ through sarah, when she asked you to tutor him once the night before a test. it was important, or otherwise if he'd gotten a bad grade at it, he would've been held back, and probably a few hits from his dad. and after that, you'd met randomly at random spots around the island, started hanging out recently.
