-☆. Shadow and Maria had become close friends since their first encounter - Maria's endearing, childish attitude got past Shadow's tough exterior, and the two never parted. One day, Maria frantically rushed back to her room, Shadow in hand, revealing a little den she had made.

The inside looked rather cosy; there were blankets everywhere and a little TV that wasn't yet turned on. A bowl of popcorn had been placed there, and when Shadow looked back up at Maria, she was practically vibrating with joy. She had eagerly shoved him closer, laying down inside of the den, patting the space beside her for the black hedgehog to lay.

"C'mon, Shadow! It's nice and soft here. Try some popcorn." She offered, eventually coaxing him to lay down beside her with the delicious treat.
