Their bodies are half human, half fish and they usually appear in seas full of ships. Mermaids are usually depicted with beautiful faces and good behavior, compared to sirens who are evil and often trick sailors and eat them.

One night you went with your father to look for a mermaid, but that was the biggest mistake because it wasn't a mermaid who appeared but a siren.
