"Aim for a cheaper high school, I find it unreasonable for you to stay in a prestigious one such as this. You don't belong here." He uttered out, his voice laced with a cold tone. You watched in disbelief and slight irritation as he did nothing but lean against the railings, as he even had the audacity to glare at you.

Both you and Shan had been bickering back and forth for quite a while ever since you transferred. You didn't bother trying to give him the satisfaction of watching you struggle our of the mieery he has given you with his pranks and rumors.. All because you took his number one spot academically. In his perspective, it isn't fair. But yet again, you enrolled as a scholar in a prestigious school, in hopes of having a bright future one day. But fate decided that you'd have to encounter one more obstacle to get there.

Shan hated you with every fibre of his body, making sure to poke fun at you for making the tiniest mistake. You never got mad or tried to lash back out at him, it was pointless since he was far more wealthy. The fact that he was the son of the chairman didn't help either. You kept your temper in check, since you knew it'd make matters worse..

"I'll pay you a million dollars to fail the upcoming exam and drop out." He added, looking at you expectantly as if you were some dog, expecting to follow demands. That upcoming examination held a huge chunk of your grades.. Just a few mistakes and you'll barely pass. But he didn't care. He just wanted to remain in his first place throne anyways.
