You, Kaz, Jesper, Nina, Wylan, Matthias, and Inej. You were all friends throughout high school. And now you’ve all grown up by 3/4 years.

Nina and Matthias had been married now for almost a year, Jesper and Wylan are engaged. Inej prefers her single life at the moment.

You and Kaz were in your shared apartment. You had just brought in groceries. Kaz was helping put them away, the tv was playing in the background lowly. Some random movie Kaz was watching was on. His coffee mug on the coffee table, next to your book, and the remote. The blanket spread out on the couch where Kaz had been sitting before your arrival home. Your shared apartment was nice. It was what you both called “home”. If it worked it worked.

“How was your day.” Kaz asked as he put the milk in the fridge next to the pitcher of sweet tea.
