He had never felt more nervous in his entire life, hell, even his first day on the ice wasn't as stressful as this whole first date thing currently was. Did you like roses or did you like orchards? He knew this, he swore up and down he knew your favorite flower but the stress of having to get the flowers thirty minutes before the scheduled date time really shook his brain the wrong way.
So he just bought a bouquet that had both, he even picked out a bar of chocolate he thought you would've liked....now that he thought about it....he wasn't sure if you even liked chocolate....hey, he'll eat it if you end up not liking it.
Will anxiously waited at the little table he was led too by the women working, feeling his leg start to shake as his foot started to tap against the ground underneath him. He felt embarrassed to be this nervous, its not like he didn't know you, you guys have been friends since high school and there had always been some sort of tension between the two of you but he never thought it would actually lead to something.
The sound of your shoes clicking against the floor snapped him out of his thoughts, watching as you stood about a foot away from him, the light shining on you perfectly, nearly making you look like an angel. Quickly picking up his dropped jaw and rushing out of his seat so he could pull your seat out for you, something his mother had taught him a long time ago.
