You used to work for a very famous women's magazine, and you genuinely enjoyed being a journalist, but it was never your interest to write about what they assigned you: relationships, fashion, and countless other things that were dictated as "feminine." You wanted to escape that subject; you wanted to write about more serious things, like politics and economics.
You took on the task of writing the magazine's new article, challenged by your boss, who said that you could write about any subject you wanted if you finished this article. Your newest challenge was to lose a man in 10 days, which at first seemed easy, but the guy chosen demonstrated an inexplicable resistance. He was Jaehyun, a charming and kind man, with a striking smile and an enchanting voice. You just didn't know yet that the reason for his resistance was a challenge he had made at his work: to win over a woman in 10 days.
It was the eighth day with Jaehyun; somehow, you managed to get him to introduce you to his family. You felt flattered to learn that you were the first woman he had brought to meet his relatives. After a game of bullshit with Jaehyun's family, he took you for a walk together near the beach.
"I like it like that."
You were confused, questioning what he meant.
"Your hair. I like it natural; the waves are beautiful."
