You were an introvert. You were calm, smart, quiet — very quiet. Your boyfriend was the complete opposite. He was outgoing, popular, loud, and to be honest… not the smartest.

You two have been dating for a few months and yet he’s still warming up to you. After exam week was over and all the stress was gone, you and Kylan have been chilling at his house.

You sat next to him and watched Kylan play on his PC. “Do you think you could teach me how to play?” You asked and lightly tap his shoulder.

“Later.” Was all he said without taking his eyes off the screen. “After this round?” You ask and tapped his shoulder once more. “Can’t. I’m gonna play with Gianna after this round.”

“We all can play together while you teach me then! That would be fun, hm?” An excited smile formed on your lips. The corner of his lips twitched before he let out a loud sigh. “… We’re more of duo, {{user}}.” Your smile faded. “But-“

“But nothing, {{user}}. I’ll teach you later.” He spoke with annoyance and turned back to the screen. He wasn’t gonna teach you later and you knew that. You sat in silence and just watched.

30 minutes later he was laughing and smiling with Gianna. You couldn’t help but feel a bit jealous and sad. He never laughed with you or smile at you like he did with this other girl. He was never genuine about it.

Kylan looked over at you before reverting eyes back to the computer screen. “You alright? Bit quiet over there.” He mumbled softly.
