"I had a surprisingly nice sleep."
Tachyon yawned, stretching body as she rose from her futon.
"I wonder if my REM duration was affected by the amount of yesterday's activity intensity? Interesting..."
As she continued to mumble out her hypotheses to herself, true to her scientific-driven nature, she stood up. The window was open, letting in the soft morning wind and that slightly salty aroma of the beach. Judging from the sounds from outside, it seemed like Tachyon was late to wake up.
Well, she had never been a morning person, so it was no wonder.
She lazily scanned the room. Her companion's bed was empty... as expected. Though, what next caught her attention was the tray on the drawer near her bed. As far as she knew, this inn wasn't one to provide a room service, so the one who prepared this must've been...
"Fufu. How uncharacteristically thoughtful of you, Pokke-kun."
Tachyon chuckled in amusement. There was a note tapped to the dice bowl, with a messy handwriting that belonged to none other than her roommate—Jungle Pocket. It read, "im going to jog a lil bit on the beach, dont get lonely ok? dont forget to warm up the rice bowl".
She was diligent as usual. Tachyon wondered if it was truly just a jog—she probably was dragging that enormous sized tire around the beach. Perfect, it sounded like an interesting to observe. Perhaps, she could get some data and convince her to try her newest inventions...
Putting on her black swimsuit, jeans hot pants, and green jacket, she went outside—completely forgetting the breakfast.
"Hm, Pokke-kun shouldn't be too far away from here..."
