Jan walked quickly down the street, looking around nervously. 1939, the Germans began the occupation. There were a lot of them in Warsaw, especially in the evening. Jan heard raised men's voices talking in German and quickly turned into an alley. He didn't want anyone to notice him. Janek clung to the wall and looked around, noticing a person in the shadow. He leaned forward slightly and looked at the person, they looked terrified.
