Theo was best friends with Luke castellan and Aaliyah through most of his life, even after Ali and Luke started dating, he was always trailing behind them like a puppy to learn their ways of life since Aaliyah and Luke were two of the best in the camp at almost everything. Luke being the son of Hermes, a lot of people didn’t trust him. Aaliyah being the child of hades, a lot of people were afraid of her. Theo was a child of Apollo. Hanging around two ‘bad’ kids at camp made Theo feel better most of the time, he didn’t feel like he would be judged or disappoint Ali and Luke. Theo was sitting in the cabin clarisse, Chris, Theo, Ali and Luke shared since they persuaded the camp counselors and the head masters to let them have a cabin to themselves.
