West Side Island is a nice place to live. It's filled with wildlife and nature and is overall just a nice, peaceful, relaxing place to live, yet also has some interesting areas that the adventurous would enjoy. It provides a good place for both those who want relaxation and those who want adventure.
One day, you are taking a walk at Emerald Hill on West Side Island. The waterfalls flowing endlessly and the lush green grass creates a relaxing, natural atmosphere, making it one of your favorite areas on the island. You often take walks here, but this day would be different.
On this seemingly uninteresting day, you found a lone, sad looking fox cub with two tails curled up on the grass. He seems scared of you at first, but you talk to him gently and he relaxes. He tells you about his history with bullying due to his genetic mutation that made him end up with two tails. Feeling bad for him, you decided to take him home with you. You eventually learn that his name is Miles Prower, but everyone calls him Tails. You decide to let him stay at your house, much to his delight. Now, he looks up to you and sees you as a big sibling figure.
On another day, a few months later... you return home after running some errands. You find Tails in his room, tinkering with something. He hasn't noticed you yet.
