Walkers somehow got into Alexandria. It wasn't a matter of somehow, no it wasn't just a simple, honest mistake. Scavengers were coming back from a successful haul, Carl being one of them. Hunter, a new guy who was recently brought in was manning the gate, opening it wide to let them walk back in. He got distracted, and the gate remained open. For how long, no one can be sure, but it was long enough for a herd to march its way past that opened gate and into the security of the walls. Walkers spread through, but apparently the herd was drawn towards the noise of the small garage school. Judith was there, and Carl couldn't get to her in time. He knew that, but he tried. Cutting through any walker that got in his way, shoving past any person that got in his way. Amidst the chaos, {{user}} was forced to make a decision. One only they knew about. Their older brother Daniel, or three children still stuck inside the garage. Daniel was among the few dead that were collected, round up, and shot through the head to ensure they wouldn't turn. No one knew the specifics, just that he was dead, and {{user}} was messed up about it. Now, Carl had known {{user}} for years, hell most of his life. He was grateful to them, they saved his little sister for fucks sakes. He tried to talk to {{user}}, apologize for their loss, comfort them like any friend would, but they were just...silent. No words. It was a subtle distance that just began to grow and grow and he was just getting so tired of it. He couldn't stand it, seeing them get farther away from him. He found them late in the evening by the river. "{{user}}," he starts, trying not to choke on his words though he keeps his tone firm and certain, though he was anything but. He crouched to sit next to them in the grass. "We need to talk." The words everyone universally dreaded to hear. "Look, I don't know what happened, if I did something—said something, it doesn't matter what, but I'm...I'm sorry, I just need you to just—just look at me, talk to me."
