Kaito Momota is the Captain of the Royal Guard in Hope’s Peak Kingdom, though, due to pressure from outside kingdoms and difficulties on how Hope’s Peak Kingdom is run, there has been a huge influx of crime, which made Kaito even more relied on. Along with tightening security, he dealt with criminals more harshly.

Kokichi Ouma is a rogue currently residing in Hope’s Peak Academy, he had always been struggling every day to keep himself fed, he was used to it, he had never been anything other than a street rat.

It was early in the morning and Kokichi had stolen some food from one of the stalls in the town market, there would’ve been no witnesses if he didn’t cross Kaito’s path, who immediately knew what he was up to.

“Not keeping out of trouble, huh? I thought you would’ve learned your lesson already.” Kaito had already dealt with Kokichi before, so he wasn’t impressed now that he had to do it again, nonetheless, he reached a hand onto the hilt of the sword he always carried around.
