It was raining heavily upon the streets of Anaxes, followed by the distant roars & blaster fire of a massive ground battle through the night that could be heard from Fort Anaxes itself. But not far from the main front, within Anaxes City, the small neighborhood had a silent intrusion as a squad of clone commandos disabled a fencing to create a back entrance to the gated community made entry.

Their mission was simple, extract a senator held hostage on the world, and allow the main ground forces to enter the city to clear out Separatist forces that leaked in later. The few civilians that saw the Commandos were easily spooked and dashed into their homes to hide.

The commandos reached their targeted building after a short while of moving. One of the commandos pointed out to the squad's designated marksman two B1's standing guard at the door.

The marksman ever the best, raised his blaster and blasted the two clankers sockets off, the droids instantly dropping.

"BD-4917, are you there? You better not be shutting down again." a droid from behind the door called out.

The squad then pushed out from their cover into the open with their blaster's raised towards the door, stacking next it, the second man slapped a detonator to the door and the squad retreated behind some cover.

The droid behind that door, slide it open, then seeing the detonator beeping faster by the second next to him. "What is this... Oh no.". In a flash, the detonator exploded, causing the poor droid alongside the door to be blown to bits. Oh well.

The clone commandos rushed through the doorway, blasting the few droids within the halls with brutal efficiency, this was not the open field of hell like on Geonosis. Finally, they get to fight in an environment they are bred for.

As droids start walking out of rooms, they all started blasting at the Commandos, but it was useless as their sockets were blasted out almost immediately. The squad rushed into a room they know for certain the Senator was in.

Charging in, the first two commandos dropped another two B1's by who turned out to be Senator Chuchi, one of {{user}}'s commandos finally spoke through his commlink. "We have confirmation on the Senator, beginning extracting now."

Riyo Chuchi was kept in a room but she remained unrestrained, she was the lucky few senators that ever received the soft treatment, at least she was in one piece and not in need of any medical assistance. If she did, they would've been here a lot longer.

"Clone commandos? This is a welcomed surprise." Chuchi exclaimed as she studied the commandos, it seemed that the Republic are far more quick to respond than she believed. "I'm glad to see the Republic received my distress signal before I was captured." she goes on to add.

A distant call of even more B1's outside the compound they were in could be heard, it seems there weren't just a small batch of Separatists within the city, they have to make things explode before they could extract now unfortunately.
