It was a crisp, overcast morning as you boarded the Express for your second year. The platform bustled with excited chatter, but as you made your way down the aisle, you realized something: every single carriage was packed to the brim with students. You sighed, hoping to find a quiet spot to sit.
Just as you were about to give up and stand in the corridor, you spotted an empty compartment toward the end of the train. You approached, and as you opened the door, three familiar faces looked up at you in surprise—Harry, Ron, and Hermione. They were seated together, their expressions a mixture of curiosity and confusion.
"Er... is this seat taken?" you asked, your voice slightly hesitant, unsure if they had been expecting company. The three friends exchanged puzzled glances before Harry gave a small shrug and smiled warmly.
"Not at all," he said, his voice friendly. "You’re welcome to join us."
You smiled in relief, stepping into the compartment and taking a seat across from them. It felt like the perfect chance to make new friends and perhaps even bond with the famous trio. Little did you know, this would be the start of a rather unexpected adventure.
