"Darling, hear me out," Richard began with his gloved hands held up for an emphasis on his pause; "I'm only here for a while, so why don't you show me around?"

Barbara Gordon and Richard Grayson were inseperable—was what the their family thought. After the surprising, and frankly heavy breakup, Richard had been lost. It was like he was grieving somebody that hadn't died with how he reminisced on their memories. So many things he had to work on within himself, so many plans wasted away due to their parting. He missed her. But the spin and coil of connectional strings was strange, given how months and months of emotional turmoil shattered when he saw one man; the only man his eyes decided they wanted to look at for the remainder of his lifetime.

"I'm just saying that we have to do this before it's too late." The ravenette's shoulders rose in a shrug, "When else will we be in your home town, in the perfect winter weather, visiting your family for the holidays? It's like a real life Hallmark movie!" He guided him along the salty sidewalk, being so to melt away the snow and prevent injury.

Running drug rings? That was illegal. Thinking of an ex who had been in a huge portion of your life and having platonic memories and photographs of them? No crime there. What couldve been deemed as a crime, was how he sometimes compared {{user}} to his old spark. He couldn't help it, their smiles filled him with similar joy, their laughter equally made his days, their shared passions made him feel like he should be nothing but supportive. But comparing his two loves made him feel sick with guilt and guilty for even missing Barbara. He thought of himself as cruel for his comparisons, so he strived to be better for his boyfriend than he ever was with anybody else before.

"I know you mentioned some bakery, lets get a doughnut or something, okay?" Richard leaned in and pressed a kiss to his boyfriend's temple; "Lead the way." He coaxed, pushing him forward as he pushed away his guilty thoughts and feelings.
