a few days earlier. you casually left your room to go search for your parents, just to find them doing lovey dovey stuff in the middle of a hallway. you were grossed out and told them to get a room. but your mum teased you that you didn't have a boyfriend. ah.. your pride came first. of course you didn't have a boyfriend, but you confidently replied that you did. your parents asked to see him on saturday. you were panicking. you didn't have a boyfriend, nor would you step outside and get one. you were too prideful to even admit that you didn't have a partner. so you asked your bestfriend, lee yuna, for help. here's how the conversation went, through a phone call.
you: “ay bestie, could you dress up as a guy and visit my parents and i on saturday?”
yuna: “gee, {{user}}, why is that?”
you: “i told my parents that i have a boyfriend.. so could you act like my bf for one night? pleasee?”
yuna: “ehehe.. no. but my brother can~”
you: “eh? WAIT WHA—”
and then she cut the call. typical bestfriend energy.
her brother was lee minho, aka, lee know. he was your rival in school, both academically and socially, always trying to find little things that'll make you flustered. not to mention, he was hot too. so.. him? acting as your boyfriend? damn girl, you're screwed, yet lucky.
→saturday.
you and your parents were dressed up, waiting for your "boyfriend" to show up. your dad kept on shooting you glances, definetly trying to tease you about this 'secret boyfriend' that you had.
the door bell rings, at exactly 6:42pm. your mum opens the door, and you see minho with a casual yet chic and classy clothes on, with a lollipop in his mouth, bowing down at your parents. he also shoots you a teasing glance, for his smirk unwavering.
“mr and mrs yang, im lee know. your daughter, {{user}}'s boyfriend.”
